In 2000 Narricot merged with the Berger Group, the largest and most technologically advanced seat belt and airbag manufacturer in Europe, making the combined company, the world's largest seatbelt manufacturer. The Berger Group has extensive
experience with the manufacture of airbags and seat belt webbing in Europe, and maintains various proprietary manufacturing processes. In 2001 Narricot opened its new airbag fabric manufacturing facility in South Hill, Virginia.

facilities to meet our customers' stringent specifications.
Narricot is an approved source for the overwhelming majority of seat belt webbing constructions and colors specified by the automotive manufacturers, including those webbings with multifilament and monofilament constructions as well as various elongations and edge designs. The company is also a leading supplier of child seat webbings. The company tests and certifies its webbing to ensure that all federal and automotive safety standards are met.
The Berger Group brings to Narricot its highly innovative RUKAFLEX seat belt webbing product. RUKAFLEX® was developed in Europe in collaboration with many of the leading German car manufacturers such as Mercedes. RUKAFLEX® is now the leading seat belt webbing used in Europe, and is supplied to almost all of Europe's car manufacturers. RUKAFLEX® has been introduced into the U.S. automotive market, and its unique patented technology has been the number one solution for eliminating friction problems that American car markers were previously enduring. As a result of this breakthrough success, the "big 3" auto makers have decided to switch over to this revolutionary webbing product.
In cooperation with our sister company, Berger Seiba Technotex Gmbh, Narricot has built a new state-of-the-art airbag production facility in South Hill, Virginia. This modern new facility has enabled Narricot to provide superior service to our North American automotive customers.
Our company has developed and manufactures a unique curtain bag. This product has been designed with a highly innovative one-piece woven construction. With this technology the bag does not need to be sewed. Rather, it is woven complete, directly off of the loom. The benefit of using a seamless, non-stitched bag is that the stand time when the bag is inflated, is far longer than that of ordinary sewn bags. Maximizing the stand time of curtain bags is a very important factor, especially for roll over crashes.
In addition to our unique one-piece woven curtain bag, we will also be able to supply flat fabric for driver, passenger, and side bags in rolls and laser cut sets.
